An end of train marker lamp from the Deutsche Bundesbahn, the name used by the railroads in Western Germany following partition in 1948 up until shortly after reunification. There is a red lens that would face towards the rear at night, the opposite side has a white or clear lens that could be turned towards the rear of the train if it had to back up. The remaining two sides have a red and white pattern that would be faced towards the rear when running in the daytime. Please see photos for details.
